Lola Cars appoints Mishern Chetty as Managing Director, as the iconic British race car manufacturer enters its next phase of growth.
Mishern is an entrepreneur, finance professional and strategic advisor who brings a wealth of international experience spanning multiple industries, including motorsport, education and finance. Most recently, he played a pivotal role in three consecutive double-championship-winning seasons with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, before completing his MBA at the University of Oxford. He then joined Liberty Global, where he helped shape initiatives that connect people and communities to deliver value in the company's diverse investment portfolio - including its acquisition of a controlling interest in Formula E. In this role, Mishern also helped facilitate Lola Cars’ entry into the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship with Yamaha and ABT, in which the team is about to compete in its second season.
Mishern will lead the Lola Cars team as it continues to re-establish itself as a leader in motorsport design and engineering.
