The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate Team coordinator to join the small yet growing, dedicated and talented team at Lola. This role offers exciting opportunities to work at the heart of high-performance motorsport, collaborating with a diverse team. The successful candidate will hold valuable skills in logistics, problem-solving, and communication and have a direct impact on team success and innovation, including sustainability initiatives. Role Responsibilities:

Race & Test Operations

  • Arrange all test team logistics and support race team logistics including travel, accommodation, and itineraries.
  • Ensure all equipment, tools, and team members arrive at venues on time and in compliance with regulations.
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight companies, and event organizers for shipment and delivery of cars, parts, and equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for customs, shipping, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support the team with last-minute changes, problem-solving, and day-to-day operational needs during race weekends.
  • Office Management - overseeing the overall site, ensuring the general condition and presentation of the building and grounds.
  • Manage contractors including maintenance, cleaners, groundskeepers, and window cleaners.
  • Some event travel may be required to test or race events as the coordinator you will be the primary venue contact.
  • Arrange and document servicing and maintenance of building equipment (HVAC, air compressor, generator, fire alarm, access system, CCTV, building alarm, etc.).
  • Manage compliance with any government regulations and requirements.

Health & Safety

  • Assist in writing and updating required risk assessments.
  • Ensure physical health and safety requirements are in place, maintained, and updated as needed.
  • Manage documentation to ensure the company meets minimum standards and develops best practice.
  • Coordinate new starter training and onboarding for health & safety.

Sustainability

  • Support Lola in achieving company and FIA sustainability standards and objectives.

Finance

  • Raise purchase orders (POs) as necessary.
  • Reconcile credit card expenses for the senior management team.
  • Manage event costing, ensuring all invoices are received and processed.
  • Obtain, distribute, and control race team floats and cash/expenses reconciliation.
  • Collect and process traveling personnel expense claims, ensuring all receipts are attached and analyzed into Sage account codes and cost centers

Skills required:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within motorsport or a high-performance sporting environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing logistics.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends and holidays as required.

Qualifications & Experience required:

  • Previous experience in motorsport, events, or logistical coordination is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with international travel logistics and customs regulations.
  • Understanding of motorsport event operations and technical requirements.
  • Experience with financial administration and expense management.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards.
  • Computer literacy - Microsoft Office, event management software, accounting systems.

Role Location & Hours:

The role will be based in Silverstone at the Lola Facility with flexibility for a hybrid role. We welcome applications from those who can commit to full time and part time hours.
